Sukhy Uppal
Hi, I'm Sukhy (short for Sukhpreet) and I'm the pharmacist and owner here at Sidley Pharmacy.
I've been a qualified pharmacist for nearly ten years, and I still love what I do. I've always had a natural interest in science and how the body works. Most of all, I'm drawn to helping people live healthier lives. For me, pharmacy isn't just about dispensing medicine; it's about working with people to improve their health, confidence, and overall quality of life.
We are incredibly proud that our team recently won Community Pharmacy Team of the Year. It's a reflection of how hard everyone here works, and I hope it shows how much we really do care about doing things right.

Why choose Sidley Pharmacy?
I officially took over the pharmacy in June 2023. I'd been working in the Bexhill area as a locum, where I met many of our local customers. There's something very special about this community - you can feel how connected people are, and I knew it was somewhere I could really make a difference.

Outside the pharmacy, I sit on the Surrey and Sussex local pharmacy committee, where I work to make sure community pharmacy continues to have a strong voice. I believe pharmacies are the backbone of local healthcare and must be accessible, approachable, and trusted.
